How the dino scavenger hunt works:

Print out the printables. Do you want to give each child their own treasure hunt card with the route to the new born dino? Then print out several scavenger hunt cards.
Cut out the dino symbols, the arrows and the dino from an egg.
Plot a route. This can be done at home, but with nice weather it can also be done outside.
Hang the symbols (in the same order as the map) scattered along the route.
Use the arrows to indicate the route.
End the route with the dino from an egg symbol.
Ideas for the dino scavenger hunt:
- Have the children do an activity at each symbol. Such as dino dance, bingo…
- Have the children solve a riddle at each symbol.
- Reward the children at the dino from an egg with a treat.
